What happens next

From brief to first render.

  1. You send the brief

We read it the same day. Within one working day you get scope, timeline and a fixed quote.

  2. We agree the scope

You approve the quote and send what you have: photos, a spec sheet, a CAD file or a physical sample.

  3. We build the 3D master

Shape, materials and lighting to spec. You see a first look before anything is finalised.

  4. You get the files

Renders, animation or ad cuts in every format you need. The model stays reusable for later variations.

Before you send the brief

The pre-brief questions we get most.

Fit-check and pricing questions from D2C founders, brand managers and creative directors in India, the US and the UAE. Answered with the numbers and workflow we actually deliver against.

  1. 01

What's the minimum project size SMAPIT takes on?

There is no fixed minimum. We take on one-off hero renders from around $500 as well as monthly retainers for 10 to 20 main images plus 80 to 100 AI variants. The economics of CGI + AI mean small brands often start with a single 3D master ($200 to $800) and one hero render, then come back for variants as the range grows. Larger brands run monthly cadences with fixed scope. The right shape depends on how many products you will ship in the next 90 days, not on the size of your marketing team.

  2. 02

What info should I have ready before I send a brief?

Nothing formal required. A one-paragraph description of the product, the goal (listing, hero, ad or launch) and a rough deadline is enough for a first reply. If you have CAD (STEP, IGES, OBJ), reference photos or a spec sheet, attach them. If you do not, we can still scope from a paragraph. A reference deck or mood board is a nice-to-have. Do not wait to collect it all before you write. Half our first replies go out on paragraph-length briefs.

  3. 03

How does SMAPIT price 3D and AI product videos?

Per project, not per hour. After the brief you get a fixed quote scoped to your outputs (hero images, animation length, ad variant count) that only changes if the scope changes. As a rough sense: a 3D master runs $200 to $800, hero renders $60 to $250 per image, a 30-second animation $3,500 to $12,000, and AI ad variants at a fraction of that per variant once the hero exists. Quotes issue in USD, INR or AED depending on your invoicing preference.

  4. 04

How fast will I hear back, and when do I get a fixed quote?

First human reply within 4 business hours. Scope, timeline and a fixed quote back within one working day. If we cannot hit that on your project (for example, if a complex brief needs a modeling reference check), we say so on the first reply. B2B service average response time in 2026 is over 24 hours, so a same-day quote is a differentiator, not a promise we make lightly.

  5. 05

Do you work across IST, GST and EST, and how do handoffs run?

Yes. The studio is in Gurugram, delivery is fully remote, and the working overlap is generous: European and Gulf hours through the day, US hours in the evening. IST 6pm to 10pm covers US 8am to noon EST for live calls. Reviews and revisions run async through email and shared review links. Quotes issue in USD, INR or AED. Files and deliverables ship via WeTransfer, Google Drive or your preferred asset system. NDAs are signed before any files are shared.

  6. 06

Can I start with one video before committing to a monthly volume?

Yes. Most brands start with one 3D master and one hero deliverable to see the process before scoping monthly volume. The 3D master (one-time cost, $200 to $800) is the foundation for everything downstream. Once it is built, the first hero render (a still, an animation cut or an ad variant set) is quick to produce. If the fit works, we scope monthly cadence from month two. If it does not, you keep the 3D master files.

Before you send

Questions that come up first.

  • Yes. Send yours with the brief and we will sign it before anything is shared, or ask and we will send ours.

  • Yes, and it shortens the build. CAD, STEP and OBJ all work. Production CAD usually gets rebuilt for rendering, because manufacturing files carry internal detail a camera never sees and they light badly as they are.

  • Yes. Drawings, a spec sheet or CAD is enough to model from. Most launch work is built before a sample exists, which is the point of doing it in 3D.

  • Per project, not per hour. After the brief you get a fixed quote based on scope, how many outputs you need and the length of any animation. It only changes if the scope changes.

  • The studio is in Gurugram, India and delivery is remote, so we overlap with European and Gulf hours through the day and with US hours in the evening.

  • Yes. We take white-label production for agencies and can stay behind your brand through the project.
